You can take Sigur Rós out of Iceland but you can never take Iceland out of Sigur Rós, and the other way around. And, sure, it´s kind of a cliché to compare the music of Sigur Rós to the wild nature of their home island, but what the hell are we supposed to say when a band sound like an exact mix of a newly awakened volcano and a sad whale? This year they promise new songs and a new show, in the band´s own words: ”All we can say right now is that it´s going to be different.” Who expected anything else?
