Rufus Wainwright, he´s almost too talented. Right when you marvel over how effortlessly he blends strings, horns, chamber pop, ragtime rythms, references to Edit Piaf or Franz Shubert into his own music the damn guy turns around and writes an opera. Or puts music to sonnets by Shakespeare. Or covers a whole Judy Garland concert. Because that´s just the kinda stuff way too talented people do.
